Nimbin Bush Theatre

A proposal to convert the old water tower structure into a ‘Pyramid’ bar / cafe serving the theatre and  courtyard by the river.  The proposal includes adding new over-sized doors to enable the side of the theatre space to open out to the courtyard and a covered veranda creating informal seating space as both a foyer to the theatre and an entertainment space overlooking the courtyard and the river.

It is envisaged that as well as providing a focal point for activities in the courtyard, the ‘Pyramid’ will also serve to separate the vibrant bustling activity at the entry from the more peaceful and subdued experience of the garden cafe.
