A Public – Social Housing project comprising 30 units for young pensioners. Arranged around an open garden courtyard with shared, active common spaces promoting and encouraging an interactive community. Each apartment has both private outdoor space and views direct access to the shared garden courtyard. There is also a covered roof terrace overlooking both the street and the courtyard with access via the common stairs. Located centrally, residents also have direct access to local services, shops and public transport. The shared common spaces have been particularly successful being used for regular social events and activities with many residents also contributing to the shared produce gardens.
Completed in 1996.
